Dec 3, 2005 Bottle. Dark brown with a cream foam. Aromas are rich and fruity, malty with berries and a mellow floral character. Also has chocolate and spices. Flavours are soft malts with lots of chocolate and berries. Spices towards the finish with decent bitterness and a nice level of warming alcohol. A good malty beer.

Nov 25, 2005 Fine greyish head on a dark brown body. Lots of malt and notes of chocolate and spices in the aroma with fruit and roast also. Roasted malt and grass flavor. Notes of chocolate. Like a good mild stout.

Jul 31, 2005 A dark amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but it also has hints of dust. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and yeast, as well as something I can’t put a name on, but it tastes nice. The end is dry.
