| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2006 Cask handpull at Wenlock. Very deep chestnut, thin off white head. Hey, it’s a really tasty red/amber ale in an American styley, but without the overly hoppiness. Great dry malt, full, deep. Alcohol isn’t showy. Dry malt and nutmeg aroma. Malt in mouth is deep and rounded. Warming alcohol. Bit more spice/nutmeg on finish.
