(Rating #1192) hophead75 (1680), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Aug 11, 2007 Hazy golden/straw in color. Aroma is grassy hops, light notes of hay and grain. Taste is crisp cereals/lightly sweet pils malt, with a weird vegetal or peppery character in the background. Finishes lightly spicy/grassy and with a very subtle hop bitterness. DYCSoccer17 (2036), Davis, California, USA Oct 6, 2005 On tap at the brewpub with a 4oz sample. Lightly fruity, citric, sour aroma. I smell wet hay. Kind of weird. Don’t detect any of the Pils hops. Transparent, mildly mildly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Slight pepperiness to start with more toastiness. Finishes with some mild pepperiness and terms of hops.. A little thick and this just doesnt really jive totally and come together like it should. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA Aug 15, 2005 Tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow, white head. Aroma has a decent DMS component (corn) mixed in with some hops and malt. Pale malt flavors with lots of hops. There is a DMS component here that I am not digging that much. Has decent potential, though.
