yespr (6361), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at the brewery. Fruity hops aroma, mild and light. Flavour is a lot more dense with a solid yet smooth hoppy base flavour with a mild caramel malt base showing through. Dry and spiced hops finish. A bit too brutal but still very good. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Jun 7, 2008 Name: 2nd Anniversary

Appearance: hazy dark orange, scant white head,
Aroma: sweet crystal malt aromawith lots of fruity hops including tangerine and pine,
Body: creamy body,
Flavor: sweet malt flavor, crystal malt combines with the fruity hops for lots of sweetness to reinforce the fruit, light bitterness adds balance but stays out of the way of the malt hop flavor,

Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Aug 17, 2008 Objectively speaking:
Brutal adventure into Californian hop wonderland.
I like:
Expressively aromatic, though not as much as top examples. Nuanced hop profile venturing into most of the flavour realms attainable by the green gold.
I dislike:
The impression that I’ve drank this under several different names. Bitterness seems a bit over the top compared to the maltiness. Still lots of residuals sugars in there, but the malt character remains low in profile with more bready character than anything else on top of the straight sugariness. More alcohol than I’d enjoy sneaks in. A bit weak on the carbonation which gives it a relatively dull palate, contrasting with the aftertaste’s length.
