On tap at Stone 9/14. Bright yellow with no head at all. Light grape and wine nose. Cider sweet in the mouth. Dry yeasty finish. Drew a super wet mouth full of saliva in the finish. Eh.

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty caramel and grain aroma and taste with some bubble gum notes.

On tap at PP Solana and PP Carlsbad. A bit of cloves in the aroma, like a belgian yeast. Thick foamy lasting head. Cloudy yellow color. Medium body. some banana aroma. Duvelish. Low-medium hoppiness.

Bland aroma. Wooden brown color. Flavor is out of balance. Too much alcohol and not enough wheat/grain flavor. Only OK

On tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. Listed as Pizza Port Reunion 09 Double Wheat Ale. I am assuming this is the same beer as Reunion is a charity contract brew. Pours with a hazy yellow body and a small white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, herbal notes and clove. Taste is much the same with spices, bubblegum yeast, and citrus. Medium to lovely carbonation. Pretty good for the Reunion beer series.

On tap at PP Carlsbad. This is brewed at San Clemente? Didn’t say anything about that at the Carlsbad location.. Pours a cloudy straw ellow, with fluffy white head. Sweet wheat bread, honey, a bit of spice and black pepper, and hops. It’s OK.

On tap @ Toronado San Diego. Pours a mostly clear shimmering golden color with a fluffy 2 finger thick white head that diminishes to nothing. Nice nose of of fresh wheat, and faint herbal hops. Flavor was actually quite sweet, a bit more malt and some more hops and you’ve got yourself a wheat wine.....decent stuff.
