Had a sample at the brewery. Pours reddish/copper with a fluffy white head. Nice clean refreshing aroma of piney hops and sweet malts, but not cloyingly. Taste is the same.

growler thanks to the fellas at the Pizza Port Bottle Shop....poured a clear reddish brown wih a frothy off-white head.... nose comprised up of caramel malt with some grassy hop note and a little roast... flavors continued on the malt forward front, mainly caramel and softer dark fruit. mouthfeel was very smooth and a slight bitterness works its way into the equation from the hops....i thoroughly enjoyed this one.

On tap at Stone. Malty , fruity, mellow aroma. Not overpowering. Deep brown color with a creamy, sticky head. The flavor was way roasted malt. Also hoppy and alcohol. Three distinct mouth stages, passing from bitter, to full-mouth, to sweet. The head was amazing, and refused to vacate tho top of the brew. This was really strong, and really good.

Poured a dark amber, red color with a thin, off white head, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, floral hops, citrus fruits, and nuts. Taste of citrus fruits, sticky caramel, nuts, pine, buttery malts, tobacco, molasses, toffee, bread, wood, and some roast, with alot of alcohol in the finish.

Enjoyed with a Pizza oddly enough, The san Francisco I think. Very rich and malty. Thick and syrupy with heavy fruits. was initially thinking it was a BSA. A tasty brew.

Draught. High creamy and lasting off-white head leaving nice long cutains. Clear dark red brown body. Relatively hoppy and spicy fruit aroma with citrus notes. Flavor also very hoppy with a good deal spicyness as well. Grapefruit on top of it. A long good and bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation.

Pours a deep reddish amber with off-white head. Sticky hops, bitter, floral, caramel malt, and some fruit and bread. Follows the style well. A big beer, with a failry thick mouthfeel, but still smooth. Not a wimpy beer.
