Dec 31, 2007 Updated: Jul 10, 2008On tap at the World Bistro 9/21/07. Pours an absolutely vibrant hazy yellow color with an airy white head. Smells a hint malty and sour with some citrus peel in the background. Tastes malty and a bit sour or bitter. Aftertaste is a little sweet with maybe a little banana in there. Pretty crisp Belgian style brew. Crisp and a bit thin for 8.5%. Good carbonation. Pretty good Belgian. More crisp than you’ll normally find.

Dec 16, 2007 On tap at PP Carlsbad. Clear yellow body with head. Spicy coriander aroma with orange and medium malt sweetness. Orange coriander flavor with spicy sweetness, witte-like. Medium body and creamy. Great flavor for a witte-like beer, enjoyable.

Nov 26, 2007 On tap at PP Carlsbad on 11/9/07: Clear deep golden color pour has a dense, small-bubbled frothy white head with nice lacing. Aroma of sweet bready biscuity Belgian malt with a touch of caramel candy sugar and some light fruity esters. Body starts rich and pale malty sweet with some stickiness and complex Belgian yeasty balance toward a slightly bitter, doughy finish. A nicely done strong Belgian golden.

Nov 11, 2007 A great Belgian specimen. Very smooth with a malty - bot not sour - finish. Does very well staying round and not thinning or sharpening as some Belgians can. Very sweet in the middle after a lemony start.

Oct 25, 2007 Pours with a cloudy orange-yellow body (looks like a glass of OJ) topped by a thin, white head with little lacing left behind. It’s slighty sweet and citrusy with a yeasty banana note, a little spice and a touch of grassy hops. It’s light bodied, crisp and a touch dry.

Oct 15, 2007 On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Hazy golden in color small off white head. Very spicy aroma as well as spicy flavor. Strong Belgian charecteristics which i am not a particular big fan of but it was a good beer that i enjoyed.
