On tap at O’Brien’s in San Diego. This golden ale poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor is fruity and spicy with a subtle, but tasty hop presence.

Sampled at The San Diego Festival of Beer. Hazy orange color with decent head. Lots of banana and bright fruit on the nose. More spicy on the flavor than in the aromas. Very fruity and sweet finish. Pretty tasty. Favorite of the night.

Draft @ Pizza Port - Carlsbad. Pours a cloudy, yellowish-white color; off-white head with patchy lacing. Generous amounts of cloves and bananas and doughiness in the aroma. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: creamy bananas and doughy malts upfront; nice levels of carbonation, keeping the palate awake; very mild spicing with a solid chewy fruitiness throughout. A tasty, sessionable belgian strong, almost like an imperialized witbier. Medium, belgian sugar and banana finish; hint of cloves. My wife absolutely loved this.

On tap, 9/17/07 at PP Carlsbad. Cloudy yellow in color, white foam that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is a chock full of Belgian yeast, lots of fruitiness, little bit of hop somewhere under the yeast. Very balanced flavor, was expecting a phenol bomb, very pleasantly surprised. Very drinkable despite knowing that somehow this will hurt soon, a good sign of a well crafted Belgian style.

Pours a hazy yellow with bright white head. Wow, big aroma with sugar sweetness, ripe banana, bubblegum and light spices. The taste is much like the aroma with sweetness, a mild tartness that’s sort of lemony like, ripe banana and bubblegum. Toward the finish yeast notes surface along with mild spiciness. Yummy refreshing brew.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Very cloudy, bright yellow-orange with a thin fine white head. Light grassy aroma with citrus, yellow fruits, and "Belgian" fermentation characteristics. Juicy orange flavors with light tropical fruits and subtle grain aspects with subdued Belgian yeast flavors. Medium body that begins light and nimble but finishes with some reserved strength and a touch of alcohol warmth.

Got some sips from J’s pint next to a nice Lahaina pizza. Not a bad combo. Subtle banana, vanilla, spicy beligian yeast form into a nice quenching brew. Pretty good.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad, my locale. Hazy yellow-orange color, barely any head formation. Its a shame that PP doesn’t have proper glassware for their micro beers. Anyways, a pretty good Belgian-style, very yeasty aroma with lots of citrus loaded into it. Massive mixed light fruits in the flavor, I tasted lots of poached pear and banana that is well-balanced with the dry finish. Crisp and wonderfully easy to drink. Not very complex, a few flavors dominate that fade quickly. Enjoyable.
