Apr 1, 2008 Tap at PP Carlsbad. Pourrs light brown/ orange. Nose is bitter citrus hops, light caramel and roast. Taste is same but with a metalic finish. Decent carbonation.

Mar 6, 2008 tap at Stone Bistro..... apperance of a transparent brandy brown with a thin, soapy white head.... nose was made up of earthy light tropical fruit hops.....flavors start of slightly bitter and then progresses towards alighter, sweet, and more crisp feel. the finish is slightly bitter as well.....not a bad bitter but didn’t do anything to really distinguish itself.

Mar 5, 2008 On-tap at PPCB yesterday. Pours a orange/copper color with a creamy white head and good lace. Smells of earthy malts, not too sweet, just earthy. Tastes dry, malty, earthy and a bit caramelly. Not that bitter I guess, but not sweet either for a malty beer. Medium body, crisp carbonation.

Dec 16, 2007 On tap at PP Carlsbad. Dark amber with beige head. Slight sweet, noble hop aroma with some dark malt. Sweet malt flavor with orange,dark malt (like a bitter), grassy and pine. Medium body and creamy. One of the better bitters I’ve had.

Oct 23, 2007 GABF 2007. Pours to a filtered glowing golden body with a creamy white head. The aroma seems like it is Phoenix hops. Rich and catty. Reminds me of Weyerbacher’s Eleven Phoenix hopped beer. The flavor is hoppy with a nice pale grain that shines through. Bitter grassy and pine hops. Creamy, nicely bitter, not oily. Grains leave a dustiness.

Sep 9, 2007 Tasted at Stone XI Party. Copper red with no head. Earthy hoppy aroma. Slighty bitter with notes of pine and a hoppy perfume to the finish.
