Pizza Port Bird Rock Pale Bock

A traditional deep golden hue with a small amount of white head. Smells like oven cleaner and hops. Tastes like smoked oak tree leaves and hops. Interesting, yet unimpressive.

Light in color with a noble hop aroma. Sweet body, but unbalanced and not very much bock character to it. I was not very impressed with this one.

Orange gold color. Aroma is malty. A full-bodied bock. Malts are sweet and slightly fruity. Hops are citrusy. Some orange overtones. Well balanced. Only negative is that it’s a little light for a bock. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Sweet bubblegum malt aroma also comes through on the palate. Alcohol apparent towards the end and very mild bitterness in the finish.
