This is beautiful. Small head, medium/full bodied eisbock. The alcohol hits you a Lot later. It's well hidden.

On Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Dark brown color. Small head. Aroma is nutty malts, dark fruits and a touch of cinnamon. A full bodied Eisbock. Malts are slightly roasty, very sweet and full of dark fruit flavors. Hops are a touch spicy. Extremely smooth tasting beer. Bodied is so full its nearly chewable. There is an evident alcohol oiliness to it at 15%, but the alcohol flavor and bit is well hidden. Its very definitely there, but its masked very nicely but the malt sweetness. This would be a very nice beer to sip next to the fire on a cold winter night. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and very smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

On Tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad. Absolutely amazing stuff. 15%abv but not even a whisper of alcohol burn. Medium/full body that is rich and creamy. Sweet malty body that comes no where near cloying. This is top 50 stuff imo.

Deep ruby color almost brown. Very caramel malty aroma. Flavor is huge malt, caramel and alcohol. Very big body with a burning alcohol finish. I really liked this one. Quite interesting.

GABF 2003: Brownish amber color, sweet toffee aroma. Oily texture, starts and ends pretty darn sweet. Very smooth and I didn't ntice the alcohol. Up 0.6 from last year. On tap, GABF 02: Orange color, ends sweet. Nice, and not over-the-top.
