Commercial Description:
Light in color and body, this beer is brewed at both Pizza Port locations. A little heavier in alcohol than the Carlsbad Cream Ale, we use only the best California Honey to produce a subtle aroma and flavor in the finished product.

This is an APA? Light sweet honey aroma domintes this one. A gold orange beer. Flavor is straight honey with a little bit of malt and a funny spice thing too. Finish is a little sour. Light and drinkable, but not really very good.

not a bad beer, smooth and light with a distinct hint of honey, good for the hot summer days

on draft at Carlsbad Pizza Port. Medium gold with thick white head ringing the sides of the glass. Honey flavor is pronounced. Aroma is a mixture of honey, grass and dust. Smooth beer, with a hoppy floral ending finish. Like eating clover dipped in a beehive.

Solana Beach. Aroma of honey malt and noble hops. Appears a golden yellow with no effervescence and no head. Flavor is very grainy. Palate is very light with appropriate carbonation. Overall, this is a nice lawnmower beer.

Light golden colour with an aroma of malts and honey sweetness. Flavour was sweet with honey with some hops for balance. A little too sweet for my liking but an easy to drink beer.

Draught at Pizza Port Carlsbad
Pours a copper gold color with a thin layer of head and moderate lacing. The nose is lightly herbal with some honey and a light earthy hop nose; some light biscuity malts. The flavor is clean and herbal with more columbus like hops. Nice and balanced. Yum.

Tasted on draft @ Solana Beach location. An average beer for the masses @ a great brewpub.

Tap @ Carlsbad: Clear light amber color. Sweet malty aroma. Some earthiness. Flavor was sweet. Light fruitiness. I guess the earthiness could have been some of the honey. I do like that PP makes a full line up of beers to appeal to everybody.
