Nov 27, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Aroma is clean, some malt and a little hop. A very light amber, almost a deep gold. Clavor is a clean malt profile with a touch of caramel in there. Medium bodied. Finishes dry. Not a ton of intensity to the flavors, but extremely drinkable. I can see why this is a best seller in house. A great pair to much of the food there.

Nov 19, 2008 Draught at GABF 2008. Clear yellow - white head. Cardboard, citrus, roasted, thin, cookies, knækbrød, swedish flatbread, light hoppy, våd kareklud. Boring.

Nov 17, 2008 On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Poured a medium amber color with small off-white head and moderate lacing. Nose is sweet malt and a touch of hops. Taste is sweet malts, nuts and brown sugar with a mild earthy hop finish. Medium mouth feel. OK beer, not great but it will do.

Oct 26, 2008 Clear amber with a fleeting head. Floral hop and light caramel aroma. Medium body. Thin taste is bready malts with some caramel sweetness. Has an earthy bitterness to finish.

Oct 25, 2008 Pours an amber color with white head. Not really that interesting, but still well done for an amber. A little bit biscuity, with light fruit, caramel, and some floral hops. hints of spice. Pretty nice easy drinking beer.

Sep 10, 2008 OK, here I am trying the highest rated beer at Pizza Port. I know what your thinking "What? Chronic only has a rating of 3.2, it isn’t the highest!" Well, I’ve heard it is the best selling beer here. I have always assumed it was because of the name Chronic, and because it is brewed with Hemp seeds. I always hear people rave about it while sitting at the bar: "You’ve gotta try the Chronic!" OK, now I’m trying it. Yellow amber color. Small off-white head. Very little aroma. Taste is sweetish. Low bitterness. Maybe a hint of butter, but not in a bad diacetyl way. Decent quaffable beer. Much better than I anticipated. Pretty good.

Aug 31, 2008 Draft. Pours a crystal clear copper amber with a small white head. Light fruity malty presence in th aroma, nothing too big and bold. The flavor is more on the fruity side. Some pear or apple in there with a big malt presence. Not too syrupy or malty, but had some decrent flavor in there. Not as earthy as I expected it to be, especially with the name. This name should only be named to an IPA of some sort.

Aug 28, 2008 Draft... RBSG ‘08... Clear, deep golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose has a biscuity, sweaty thing going on that I don’t like. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Leans just a hair on the sweet side of balance. Toffee and biscuit. Crisp, lightly sweet finish.
