Draught. Deep dark brown almost black colour with a very nice steady creamy light brownish head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt with coffee. Rather thin mouthfeel for a stout. The flavour has a nice roasted maltiness with caramel, coffee and some chocolate, bitter hops and some dark fruitiness. Pleasant brew.

Draught at Ølbaren.Creamy off-white fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Moderate malty light roasted aroma. Roasted mild moderate bitter flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Not a good stout.

(Draught) Pours a dark brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and roasted malt. Flavor of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, lactose, and caramel malt.

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours dark brown to black with a small and dense tan head. Smooth roasted an coffeeish aroma, light fruity hoppy too. Smooth chocolate and coffee flavored with a light sweet. Mild fruity and hoppy touch. Goes into a mild bitter and slight roasted malty note. Light bodied yet also quite flavourful thouch.

On tap @ Pizza Port, Carlsbad. Pours nearly identical to the Truck Stop, but with a longer lasting lace-generating head. Sweet milk chocolate aroma. Flavours of chocolate, burnt malt, with a cola-like sweetness. Velvety smooth mouthfeel.

(11/2/08) Draught sample at Hamilton’s in San Diego. Black-colored. Aroma of roasted malt and dark fruits. Sweet malty flavor with roastiness, some coffee notes and some fruity notes. Medium-bodied. A good Stout.

Tap at Carlsbad. Pours a deep brown with amber notes and a medium creamy very light tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, lactose, caramel and a touch of vanilla. Flavor of milk chocolate, toffee, caramel, lactose and light smoke/roast.

On tap at Pizza Port. Pours a reddish brown with light tan head. Milk chocolate, malt, lactose, and some bitterness. Its alright, not an exceptional sweet stout.
