Draft at Pizza Port Carlsbad; nose with only a light caramel note; gold with a small white head; flavor is weak graininess, a little pepperiness, and a very weak hop bitterness; not my favorite Pizza Port beer.

Draught Creamy-golden, no head left. Sulphur, grassy, weak nose. Weak, oxydized pale malts, watery finish. Weak and watery MF. Oops. I blame the "style".

On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours a clear, light yellow color with a thin, crisp white head, some spider web lace. Smells crisp and malty. Tastes sweet, crisp, and malty. There is a general sweetness as well, cream? I don’t know. Thin body, coats the mouth, crisp carbonation.

Tap at PP Carlsbad. Pours straw yellow with small 1 finger white head. Smell is malty, honey, vanilla and yeast. Taste is same with a creamy smooth mouthfeel. Guess they have this for the non-beer drinkers who come in for a pizza. Could not drink more then a taster.

A little unambitious, but I guess even micros have to woo the swillers. This was a bit too much like a lager for me, not enough of that English body that keeps people coming back to Boddington’s.

On tap at PPCB. A clean yellow pour. Almost no nose but clean as a whistle. While it has a bit of maltiness it doesn’t have the adjunct taste. It has the lightest of bitters as well. Solid palate and carbonation. As clean as pin and very refreshing excellent drinker.

On tap at PP Carlsbad. Clear, light yellow with small white head. Corny, slight aroma. Flavor is slight xitrus hops with sweet cream aftertaste, citrus and strawberry/banana. Medium b odied and creamy. Okay.
