Tap at Carlsbad. I would drink this every day if I could. Nice dank hoppy aroma, some balancing but subdued malt, really great Simcoe character this season, fully hoppy but smooth... well done guys.

Fresh on tap at the brewery...lovely hop aroma - flowery, slight fruit, slight sweetness - nice carbonation and spritzy hop components with nice malt balance. Strong but not overpowering.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad and at O’Briens. Awesome wet hop ale. Slightly hazy golden color with low carbonation. Fine white head. Very pleasant and fresh harvest ale aroma that is seeping with hop resins and notes of fresh grapefruit. Zesty and peppery flavors of hops straight off the vine. More grapefruit and orange peel comes through under the hops, with a touch of caramel malts. Totally killer finish that is seeping with wet hops. Very drinkable, very very good.

Pours a deep copper amber color , slightly hazy, moderate sized frothy white head, spider web lace down the glass. Smells very subdued hoppy citrusy sweet with some slight caramel malt as well. Tastes citrusy, lemony, hoppy, earthy with some slightly sweet malts that hit in the middle. Hoppy bitterness lingers. Hop flavors are very tasty and complex. Medium body, good carbonation.

On tap @ O’Briens at the wet hop festival. I knew this was going to be a delicious treat so I made sure I ordered a pint and plus to fulfill the beers name plant to pint. There was a big decked out aroma of fresh green hops that overwhelmed my nose from the rest of the bunch on tap and I immediately dived into the glass. The flavor was of course dominated by fresh green hops both sticky and oily which made for impressive harvest hop ale.

Tap @ O’Brien’s. This brew came in a close 2nd at the Wet Hop Fest @ O’Brien’s. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a small off white ring that left some lacing. Big citrus hop nose with a hint of caramel malt in the backdrop.
