Some carbonation and a light tan ring of head. Medium strength aroma of brown sugar and raisin. Sweet, sugary flavor with notes of plum and caramel toffee. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy, dense dried dark fruits, brown sugar, and caramel upfront; reasonably reserved sweetness; decent, slightly warming scotch ale with a solid core. Tastes malty and dark fruity sweet, raisins, with some warming alcohol. Dishwater through the middle with a nice malty sweet finish and some slight hop spice. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.
