On tap at Three Floyds: It poured a deep golden body with a substantial head and plenty of lace. The aroma had a candied, dried light fruit sweetness overlaid with some citrusy hops. Nice hoppy bitterness in the flavor along with some sweet pale malt and soft fruits. Interesting drink.

On tap. Nice hoppy aroma. Interesting malt blend and good bitter hop flavor. Hard to put my finger on the flavors - a bit acidic, not really piney or strong citrusn but overall enjoyable. Mouthfeel is nothing exception. Good offering from Port.

On tap at Three Floyds and served in a tulip. Dark golden/orange pour with a thick, slowly fading head of beige foam. Decent lace. The aroma had dried oranges, grapefruit, caramelized sugar, and some fruity yeast esters. The flavor had a nice tangerine/grapefruit hoppiness followed by a solid malt backbone of graham craker and toasted bread. Also some dried orange peel. Medium-bodied with a moderate amount of soft carbonation. Decent. Could probably be classified as a Tripel.

Source: Tap at DLD.
Glass: Plastic Cup.
Appearance: Hazy gold/orange pour with a thin off white head.
Aroma: Caramel and toasted malt, candi sugar, grapefruit and other citrus hops.
Flavor: Sweet malt really dominates the palate, with citrus hops finishing.
Palate: Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall: Didn’t care much for this one. A little too disjointed.

Tap at 2009 DLD: Hazy golden hue with a small but lasting frothy head, okay lace. The aroma has notes of bready and toasty malt, some Belgian yeast esters, candi sugar, banana, grapefruit, clove, white pepper, and grassy. The taste is more sweeter and malt driven than expected, the hops are really a backnote here. Fruity bubblegum and some mineral water flavors upon the finish. The mouth feel is soft and drinkable, not overtly carbonated. A good beer but I have better Belgian IPA easily available to me.

Tap at Carlsbad location. Decent beer but not my favorite from this location. Good hop and yeast aromas. Very refreshing and a good not over the top beer.

Nice take on a Belgian IPA. Has a very sweet smell that smells like honey. Flavor is nectarlike and very sweet as well. Notes of banana and clove. Pours golden.

Nice beer. Slightly hazy golden pour. Fresh hops, citrus, banana, lemon, flroal notes, grass, and a little spice. Refreshing and quite tasty.
