Mar 30, 2008 Tap at PP Carlsbad. Pours light straw gold with no head. Zero lacing as I drink. Smell is grassy hops, grapefruit, mellow malt and peanut . Taste is nice bitter hops, decent malt and light peanut aftertaste. Carbonation is prickly and just right. Overall a nice IPA that is bitter but not overdone.

Jan 4, 2008 Tap @ Carlsbad. Poured a mostly clear amber color with a large off-white head. Big citrus hop forward aroma. The flavor is of grapefruit juice. Semi-dry finish and moderately bitter.

Dec 25, 2007 On tap PPC. A clean clear red/gold pour with a creamy white head. Hops dominate the nose. Very solid IPA full flavored hop profile. A red semi sweet malt presence help to make this a very balanced beer. Carbonation is good palate is full. A very solid IPA clean across the board and easy to drink. The lack of warmth may allow this beer to sneak up on you.

Nov 30, 2007 Draft at PP Carlsbad. Gold with a small tight head. Taste is fruitty with mellow tangerine. Balance is there too with a decent amount of sweet malt mellownes.

Nov 23, 2007 On draft at PB Taproom, arrived a medium to dark amber, with a moderate off-white head. Hoppy and pungent aroma, pine and brash floral notes, hints of toasty malts in the background. This is an unabashed and agressively hopped west coast style IPA, with pine oil and evergreen branches, citrus peel and notes of toffee and toast, lingering astringent aftertaste - a true hop heads delight. Medium body and crispy carbonation.
