Commercial Description:
This bold Belgian Style Ale is a blend of 4 sources of fermentable sugars. American Oak, sour cherries, and three seperate strains of brettanomyces. It takes over a year to make each batch because a beer like this requires patience, creativity, and most importantly, equal parts luck and skill. We know of no other beverage in the world that tastes like this.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Wonderful sour cherry aroma. Dark brown color with a head that left quickly. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Somewhat woody - like cherry pits. Lots of mild fruit flavors banging around. Perhaps a touch of cola. Extremely pleasant drink. This one could be to die for.

Draft at Brouwer’s Sourfest. Opaque dark brown with honeyed toffee highlights. Big tart red wine vinegar and oak nose. Mild creamy body. Sharp tart vinegar attack. Oak and funk and vinegar mid-palate. Somehow this completely ties together into a lovelyl, harmonious, approachable, even quenching beer. Lots of dark fruits. Phenomenal.

Sinner’s Club bottle; Nose of cherries, very light tartness, a molasses note, oakiness, and a very slight butteriness; rusty color with a very slight beige head; flavor is cherries, brown sugar, molasses, and very light tartness.

On-tap at the 2nd Anniversary Party. I had 3 pints. Let me tell you, way too much. Pours dark red brown with minimal to head and no lace. Smells like dark, sour cherries with some dark maltiness as well. Tastes of dark sour cherries and dark sweet malts. Sweet and sour with a good bit of alcohol flavor as well. Medium body, alcohol bite, decent carbonation.

On tap from the release/ 2nd Anniversary Party. Brown murky look to it with not much in the way of a head. Smeels like cherry, cramel malt and yeast. Very easy in your mouth and pleasant. Way complex in flavor. Bourbon notes, dried fruit, sugar, molasses, with just the right amount of sweet and tart cherry. Very hard to detect alcohol. Insane beer!

This stuff is so freakin’ good. Had at the release today on tap, pours cloudy, dark caramel brown with no head. Nose is light and tart with some brett funk, as is the flavor as it tingles your tongue when it passes your lips. Very smooth and dangerously drinkable, considering the % and $!

sampled at DLD, wish I knew/remembered who passed this out to rather random beer fans late in the day at DLD, but thanks! Another example of a very generous soul at DLD... part of what makes it so great - Pours hazy brown with an aroma of tart cherries and some yeast and malt. The flavor is both sweet and tart with cherries, oak, and malt. I didn’t really notice the 11.5% abv. Nice.
