On tap at beachwood. Didn’t know it had raisins, but now it all makes sense. Great body and a very caramel quality to the taste and texture. Odd, but definitely delicious. First raisin beer I have actually enjoyed.

On tap at the Port in Carlsbad. Pretty well played for a dubb, and delicious for sure. Fairly still appearance, on some small bubbles and thin white rings. Extremely opaque brown color. Sweet and tart aroma of yeast, banana and raisins. More fruits in the flavor, notably raisins raisins raisins. Some brown sugar and cocoa, and the bubble gum notes are there. Finishes with a medium body and ample carbonation.

On draft at Pizza Port San Clemente, 02/25/08. Clear brown with modest carbonation. Bubble gum aroma. Tastes like bubble gum with a hint of molasses. Simple and not especially yummy.

Tap @ Carlsbad: Poured a clear mahogany color with an off-white head. the aroma was fruity with notes of the dark fruits. Somewhat sweet with a chocolate nose on the finish. The flavor had plums and mild raisins on the very end. medium bodied and a semi-dry finish. Some warmth. Very tasty stuff.
