13 oz Trappist glass from the tap@O’Brien’s: Sweet bubble gum and dark fruit nose. Brown color with ruby highlights and a small offwhite head. Flavor starts dark fruit and bubble gum, then a little banana, a light tartness and a spicy/peppery finish. Medium bodied and smooth with lively carbonation.

On draft at O’Briens. Arrived in the glass a deep ruby brown with a thn beige head. Aroma of roasty malts, molasses, dates, prunes, coffee and some light floral hops. Sweet, dark fruity malts, molasses and brown sugar, herbal notes with a delicious sweetish finish. Medium body, smooth and moderate carbontion. Pretty good.

Tap, O’Briens. Pours a dark ruby color with no head at all. Strong sweet yeasty, bubblegum aroma. Yeasty flavor up front. Some bubblegum, banana, and some spice. Smooth drinker. I liked this one.

Dark ebony color with thin head and moderate lacing. The nose is rich with bubble gum as promised. STrong fusels and esters in the flavor though. When amplifying the bubble gum they brought forward some other unpleasant things. Full body and a sweet blegian "gone wrong" finish. They nailed the bubble gum, but I’m not sure if I like it. Tail is hot.

Tap @ PP Carlsbad. Almost clear brown w mahogony tint, good beige head. Aroma is Belgian yeast with mild fruit, light hops & med roast malt. Flavor is Belgian Abby style, into medium bodied, semi dry w a nice bitterness, the raisins are noticable on the palate. Tart & dry on the finish.

On draft, Carlsbad location. Caramelly translucent, maple syrup brown pour with a very small wisp of off-white head. Aroma of bubblegum, bubblegum, and more bubblegum. Some light, cloying scents of roasted raw sugar touch the nostrils as well. Light, malty flavors of toffee, cinnimon raisin toast, and more bubblegum. Not especially amazing, but highly unique, and the name delivers exactly what is promises.

Dark reddish brown pour w/ a small well laced off white head. Smells of bubblegum candied sugars fresh bread dough some dark fruits. Palate coats well and has a nice carbonation. Flavor is sweet bannana bread & light raisons w/ some brown sugars. Good stuff.

The beer pours to an orangish glowing brown body with a white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is raisins and bubblegum with some nice yeasts. The flavor is bubblegum, Belgian yeasts, interesting malts. The aroma is light bubblegum with not much else. The palate is medium-bodied. Lingering bubblegum flavors and sugars. Cloying palate.
