Beautiful amber color. Strong perfumy aroma, pleasant, inviting; hoppy, fruity. Balanced taste, beween the strong bitterness and the big sweetness.

Golden color. Mellow hop aroma, fruity, but with some dry raisins and sweet nuts; light vanilla and light pine needles; complex and lovely. Malty and bitter, sweet caramel, brown sugar, some fruitness, extreme but with elegance!. Excellent! Thanks Per for this wonderful brew.

very sweet, hoppy aroma, almost flowery, with some hints of spices. color is basically orange, with a light white head that coats the glass. very sweet, fruity flavor with a mouthfeel that tingles all the way down. the hops are obviously there, but are far from overwhelming, and i mean that in a good way. the flavor on the aftertaste is possibly orange, but i think its grapefruit. a considerable amount of body for a beer with virtually no malt flavor. this was an excellent specimen, increasing how much of an impression this genre is making on my beer drinking. thx to goldtwins for this.

nectar of the beer gods. Resinous and floral hop character with a wonderfully dry malt body and wonderfull fruit complexity coourtesy of that wonderful little flower. Pears along with Apricot and mango hints that just explode in a wonderfully dazzling spectacle of beery delight.

(Bottle) Pours an orange body with a moderate off-white head. Beautiful aroma of freshly cut grapefruit and oranges. Juicy, hoppy flavor. Well done Double IPA! Nice balance of hops and sweetness!

Light brick in color. Heavily hoppy and lovely aroma with big resin, grapefruit and pine notes and hints of nectarine, peach and caramel. Soft malt body (caramel, biscuit) with big and outrageous, yet balanced hops. Notes of pine, grapefruit and lemon and a strong hint of amarillo (although I could be wrong) with a pleasant and lingering finish.

Huge hop aroma, very sweet and citrus, I’m guessing Cascade, excellent.Off-orange, a little cloudy with a thin head. Solid, heavy mouthfeel. Taste is sweet and malty enough, with big hops. FInish could be a little better though, as it turns just slightly sour at the end.

12oz - 2004 - Fresh hop smell, pungent. Golden tan with a small head, nice sticky lacing. Crisp hop flavor typical of West coast IPA’s. Taste lingers well asking for another sip to refresh. I could drink a lot more of this.
