Bottled. Amber colour, average head. Big grapefruity hop aroma. Incredibly hoppy with a soft malt backbone. Sweet, rich and in a perverted sort of way somewhat balanced. Long grapefruity bitter finish.

GHBF: Thanks for the taste JoeM and DarkElf for suppling the bottle! I didn’t really take many notes with this tasting, I was enjoying the beer way too much. Did write down the numbers however and a tell tale sign on the wonderfulness of the night. "My taste buds need resurrected", whatever the heck that meant.

DarkElf delivered: Huge orange zest nose, pine hints, perfumy. Body is thick, but citrusy burst in flavor keeps it refreshing. Malts are caramelly. Just an excellent beer that is packed with fresh hop flavor.

Damn, what a great hoppy IPA. I was attacked with hop scent from a foot away as i opened this thing, the kind of aromatic jolt that could bring flashbacks of nam or something. Pours a nice transparant orange with a white head that leaves a thick lacing on the glass. Taste is very well balanced, hiding the 8% ABV. Waves of flavor hit you from this beer, with a great malty start and citrus hop finish with plenty of bitterness. A ton of thanks to Stephen (Darkelf) for sending this brew up here to oregon.

ReRate after having a bottle that aged a few more months: Pours a cloudy deep amber with a thick off-white head. Aroma is a straight-on citrusy hop attack with nice sweet malt. Tastes like you’re chewing on grapefruit rinds and whole hop cones. Tart and citric with a ton of pine and an overall malty sweet taste. Aftertaste is very bitter and reminscent of orange and grapefruit juice with a nice vanilla undertone. Alcohol content very well hidden, goes down pretty smooth. Mouthfeel is very full, round and creamy. Great lacing and head retention. Overall, highly recommended!

Cloudy amber color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was Fantastic, hops, grapefruit and juicyfruit gum, maybe even a slight hint of pineapple and apricot going on there as well. The flavor is fruity with a nice hoppy taste that makes you not want to stop drinking the brew. The grapefruit side is not nearly as hardcore as i was thinking it might be,but very pleasantly done.Nice hop after taste with a nice grapefruit side to it.very nicely done brew, and Thanks go to Jcalabre for sending this fine brew my way.

Gold in color with a nice thick lacing. Aromatics are of pine tree, fresh raw hop flowers and cannibus. Flavor is sweet, bitter, citrusy and is delicious. Full bodied palate, a bit sticky, syrupy. This is a damn near perfect Doulble IPA.

Wonderful flowerly, perfume olfactory decisions. Yeasty and crisply sugar cookie flavors. Good finish. Leaves the palate dry.
