Huge, fresh dry-hopped aroma of pine and citrus. Piney flavor with a light stone fruit underbelly. A very solid DIPA, however this beer does not jump out at me as particularly interesting. Hops is dominating in the aroma with tones of oranges. Lots of hops in the flavor but more aroma hops and bitter hops. Fruity and nutty tones. Smooth and complex with a fine dry finish. An excellent and very well balanced IPA! ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

But what jumps out is the malt. Beautifully balanced beer with a big citrus, hop aroma and bitterness. Huge piney notes with a subtle but nice malt base. Finishes with clean, outstanding hop finish. It’s simply one fantastic beer! SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 26, 2004 Bottle, many thanks to DarkElf for this one. Pours hazy amber gold with a moderate white head that diminishes to a thing ring of bubbles. Aroma is dominated by hops, floral, piney and grapefruit scents are all present as well as some rich malts. The aroma changes and blossoms as it warms. Flavor is yummy! The sweet almost syrupy maltiness is balanced by hops galore that tweak the tongue and induce a pleasant pucker. Full, thick body and mild, creamy carbonation. This IIPA is a treat! frankR (145), Davis, California, USA

Nose of spicy floral hops (smells like cannabis) and nectar of a malt. Fruity malt front with a strong floral hop finish, very intense hop experience. Absolutely terrific IPA and a great name as well. Alcohol never present, the hops are so intense, only a little alcohol warmth. Complements great pizza. footbalm (1219), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

The flavor is really bitter but smooth all the same. Some oranges, apricots, and caramel in the flavor. Very creamy and well balanced. Thanks Utah Chris for bringin this one by. Warms up to a massively hoppy, mangoey, pineappley kind of hoppiness with loads of pure sugary malt in the mix. Not massively biiter, in a Very good, very rich.
