Amber body with some pinkish highlights. Orange peel, butterscotch candy, and unripe pear make up the appealing aroma. Big hoppy, sticky flavor. It starts with warming alcohol and sweet malt. The malt is then brushed aside by some big ’ol fatty hops, resinous pine and grass to be precise. Finishes with grassy bitterness and some sweet stickyness on the tongue. I could have used less alcohol in this otherwise enjoyable IIPA.
Thanks go to JCapriotti for giving me this beer.

Foggy tangerine. Thick, sticky white mousse. Soft aroma of honeyed orange peels and pine needles. Slight notes of resin, mashed oranges, hop leaves, and powdered malts. Thickly creamy carbonation caresses the tongue with substantial fluff. Begins with a restrained hop punch and a healthy honeyed malt dollop. Hops provide some piney sting, but continually lurk beneath the malts. Explosively flavorful and juicy hop elements, throughout, which constantly battle the sweet malts and mesh with the supple creaminess of the body. Harmonious interplay between sugared malts, honeyed orange peels, and pine sap flavors. Alcohol peaks toward the center, but quickly succumbs to the thick sappy notes. Flashes of dried apricots dripping with caramel deepen the subtle pine. Uncannily resinous palate steadily thickens the pillowy soft body and highlights the bright lemon oil aspects of the hops. Deceptively brash hop oils slowly but surely wreak havoc on the palate, coating the tongue and slicing through the rich, bready malts with their juicy flavors and tight piney bitterness. Finishes everlastingly thick and sappy, yet understatedly piney and bitter which eventually yield to the recurring malt immensity. Very tasty.

Beer pours light orange in color with lots of fine particles suspended and an off white head that is partly retained. Aroma is richly hoppy with lots of pine, pine, and more pine. Wow, I just noticed this is 9.5%, no hint of such in the aroma. Flavor is initially sharply bitter citric hops with some fruit. Finish is more hops. Not much maltiness, more of a full assualt hop monster. Very enjoyable.

Clouded orangey appearance, good head formation. Strong grapefruit, piney hop hop aroma, subdued biscuity malt. Sweet orange tropical fruit intro, stong grapefruit in the finish. Alcohol is mildly noticeable adding some warmth.

Amber/orange color, with aromas is pine and citrus. Classic imperial IPA flavors, with grapefruit and pine, along with some caramel sweetness in there as well. Thanks to sick_boy282 for this one.

Pours orangish-copper, thin offwhite head, some lacing. Nose is strong with hops, maybe some citrus. Tastes of grapefruit and strong hops, yet much smoother than I expected. Best IPA I’ve ever had. Thanks for the trade, Darkelf!

Sampled with egajdzis and eyedrinkale after the Philly gathering, courtesy of the latter. Cloudy, bright light copper...massive fruity nose, mostly citrus with a bit of apricot and pine. Fruity flavor, again mostly orange-grapefruit, clean, well-balanced, but for me lacking in the last degree of excitement. Rather light-bodied.

Hazy orange gold color with a small off white head, no lacing. Strong citrus, piney, grapefruit hop aroma. Bitter hops, citrus fruits, light alcohol. Very nice IIPA punch. Very enjoyable, I like these west coast IIPAs.
