Aug 22, 2005 Super yummy big unfiltered double IPA. Quite sweet, they left in lots of sugar. Honey and hints of citrus. Head is creamy but not thick. Full bodied. Delish.

Aug 15, 2005 Pale, murky and hazy pale gold in color. Shadow like head. Clean grapefruit, mango, pineapple and papaya aroma, igniting passion fruit awareness and high aspirations. Grapefruit strikes a bitter cord with some malty sweetness to follow it up. Medium bodied, turning all attention to the bittering agents at work. Quick palate sweeping that slices a layer of taste buds in the process. A very well executed I2PA. Thanks for bringing this CaptainCougar!

Aug 15, 2005 Thanks Jason. This one pours to a hazy straw colored body with a thin white head. The aroma is oranges and citrus. Very hoppy. The flavor is bitter and hoppy. Oranges and caramel, light citrus. The palate is medium light and smooth.

Light cloudy off brown yellow color w/ a small head. Big grass & citrus hop aroma w/ a malty backbone. Palate is even, smooth, and well coated but could definatelly be bigger. Flavor is a big grass & citrus hop some carmel and spice w/ a nice bitter finish. Good stuff.
Rerated at GABF... one of my favorite beers ever... creamier and crisper than I remembered.

Aug 8, 2005 Bottle. Yellow orangey gold pour. Huge grapefruity piney resinous aroma. Huge citrus fruity and caramel sweet malty flavors, balanced very very well. Appropriate big bitter lingering bite. Very well done IIPA.

Aug 5, 2005 nothing i can say is going to do this beer justice. it is an absolutely delicious balance of tastes between hops and malt with aromas and flavors of citrus and a slight hint of caramel. Such a fantastic beer!!!

Aug 3, 2005 Top 50, courtesy of Pailhead. Pours orange with film for head. Nice aroma of citrus hops and sweet caramel malt. Flavor very well balanced between hop/malt with some apricot fruit character. Can’t stress how well balanced this is, probably more than any IPA I’ve had. Not overdone in any way.
