On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Low aroma. Same appearance as great american brown, maybe slightly darker. Maybe a hint sweeter. No roastiness. Not as good as great american brown.

SDFOB-2008. Draft. A very good brown ale. Some different banana flavors that are tasty. Some brown sugar and cinnamon too. An excellent session beer.

Golden-brown. Slightly toasty with a chewy toffee nose. Slight chewiness in the palate, too, with hints of molasses and vague nuts.

On tap at Taproom in Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA--Poured a dark brown-chestnut0tinged body with a little sudsy whitish head. Big grainy, cereal and mild coffee nose. Sweet and reminiscent of Captain Crunch/Mr. T cereal/Sugar Smacks. bright, crisp mouthfeel. Bready, grainy, cereal. Pretty decent.

On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours a medium brown colorwith a moderate off-white head, some lace. Smells of subdued toasty malts. Tastes malty, roasty and earthy hoppy, slight caramel flavors. Very complex flavors, a little ashy-ness in there as well much like Abyss. Medium body, dry, smooth carbonation.
