As soon as I opened the bottle, I could instantly smell the hoppy goodness. The aroma and taste is mainly dominated by citrus and pine notes. The bitterness from the hops lingers forever on your tongue. I had no clue this was 10% ABV, it is well hidden. This is great flavorful, well balanced, double IPA. madmitch76 (520), , Essex, England

Ubiquitous grapefruit aftertaste. Good IPA - slightly above the myriad crowd of hoppy beers. tangent (8), San Pedro, California, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Nov 18, 2009 One of my favorite California IPAs. Hoppy deliciousness!
The pour has a hazy amber orange look to it, with a decent sticky head.
The smell of this beer is pure hops.
The taste is hop heaven. Not too piney and not too citrus-ey a perfect balance of hop varieties.
Probably not the best beer for someone who is just getting introduced to IPA’s , but for the IPA lovers a it’s hit for sure. potbeercollege (311), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Aroma predominantly of citrus-fruity hops, slight sweetness, noticeable malt, notes of pine. Taste is dominated by fruity-acidic hops, slight malt sweetness. Big bitter bite lingers. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Pours a murky orange-brown with thick head. Aroma of citrus, pine, orange, florals. Promises and delivers....hammering hops. Sweetish malt, but you wouldn’t say the word balance. Still, its the good stuff. ChrisThomson (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 7, 2009 650mL Bottle. Thanks to Dan for sharing this one. Pours mid-golden colour. Aroma is very citrusy, with some pine. Complex hops, pine, citrus and honey notes. Has a long lngering bitter finish. Slipstream (746), USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 6, 2009 The bottle I got said nothing about Pizza Port - just called Port Brewing Hop 15. Cute cartoon of hop bombs falling from airplanes on the (otherwise not too attractive) label. Orange amber pour with a bit of spotty lacing. Amazing aroma with forest, honey, and floral tones - mmm. The flavor is likewise excellent - zippy, herbal hops mixed with some malt syrupy sweetness. Plays around nicely on the palate and exits with a dash of grapefruit bitterness and a splash of perfume. No complaints about this brew! Hey hopheads, over here.... Fratto (691), Arlington, Texas, USA
