Oct 5, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle this poured a copper-orange with small head and light lacing. Nose is citrus hops. Very clean and rich mouthfeel. Very rich flavor with great bitter hops perfectly balanced with the malts.. Very nice bitter finish. Wonderful beer.

Oct 3, 2009 Shared a 22oz bomber. Pours a delicious looking dark orange haze. What a hop bomb. If you like hops, this is for you. It just punches your mouth from the get go. So delicious and the alc.% is well hidden. Grapefruit and aweome bitter finish. Fantastic beverage.

Sep 30, 2009 Hallelujah, praise the lord and satiate my slobbering mouth, thank e very much. This heah is some goooood beer. poured with a grand off white head that lasts and good lace. Color is a slightly hazy yella. Flavor’s outstanding; fully hopped and the malt to stand up to it. Body is full on with enough carbonation to offset the power of the alcohol, sweetness, and hops. Finish is tasty but boozy. A beer to be reckoned with. Proly not to be consumed bottle after bottle. amen.

Sep 26, 2009 It poured a hazy golden-orange liquid with a small white foam. It had a fresh smell and taste of grassy hops, lemon and other citrus fruit. It was very smooth with a round feeling that just hugged my tongue. Balanced and extremely good, one of the best beers I’ve had.

Sep 26, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber gold gradient with slightly tan head. Smells of sharp floral hops, pungent, citric. The beer is complex. First a sharp hop bite, which mellows into a sweet fruity feel, then an ultra bitter, grapefruit finish. Amazing.

Sep 25, 2009 22oz bottle from my favorite beer store only 4 hours away! College Liquors. Pours a clear amber color with a thick white head and loads of lacing. The aroma is sweet citrus hops, pine, huge alcohol warmth. A massive orange peel and pine flavor, the smoothest of west coast hops, with tons of citrus and some bitterness pushing through the sweet aspects. Something akin to wood and a long bitter citrus finish. Very good.

Sep 24, 2009 Bomber from By The Bottle. Colour... cloudy orange with a moderately thick white head. Nose... crushed conifer needles and squeezed citrus. Palate... smoothly carbonated, sweet yet bitter burst of grapefruit juice and skin, pine wood chips and pitch, nice tempering with malt and a delightfully long finish! A quintessential west coast style Imperial IPA!

Sep 20, 2009 On tap at Johnny Brown’s Dtown SD. Pours a cloudy bright dark orange. Not a strong nose but some hops are evident. This has a very interesting flavor for a DIPA. Sweet hops and floral notes. Some alcohol comes through in a flavor similar to a whiskey or bourbon. Very different and nice.
