jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Jul 17, 2009 From a bottle poured dark amber with a lot of head. Nice strong hoppy flavor with a lingering finish. Hopcrazy (27), Washington, USA Jul 16, 2009 22 oz bottle pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head. Weak hoppy nose. Flavor is bitter and alcohol with some malty sweetness. Very stringent alcohol ending. Still a nice Imperial IPA. tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Jul 16, 2009 65 cl bottle at my garage-tasting May 8th. Light amber color, nice off-white head. Aroma is pine hops and malt - lovely! Flavor is malty, but most of all hops. The bitterness and the alcohol makes it a bit unbalanced, but still a very fine beer. Very hoppy pine aroma. Golden coloured and a little hazy in appearance. Very hoppy with some dryness in a crisp and bitter finish. NickVega (72), Eugene, Oregon, USA Jul 15, 2009 This is simply a beautiful beer. Impossible to over rate. Unique combination of hops come down like a velvet hammer. Delish from sip to swallow. mesperon (133), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA Jul 13, 2009 Amber with nice head. Beautiful floral, citrus, and somewat grassy hop aroma. Very smooth but very powerful floral, resiny, and citrus hop taste. Very subdued bitterness. Showcases the hops extremely well. captaincass (45), Everson, Washington, USA Jul 6, 2009 smells real sweet and columbus hoppy like a typical southern cali ipa. really sweet ale, a little hop bitterness and sweet hop finish was way too sweet for me, couldn’t really taste the hops that much just malt and hop bitterness and alcohol. was expecting way more hop flavors, pretty much a basic double ipa to me. BeerVirgin72 (778), Pataskala, Ohio, USA Jul 5, 2009 Bottle shared at Muckfest 2009 in Lancaster Ohio. Golden amber pour. Aroma of pine and oranges. Flavor was a hop whop of pine, oranges, lemon, and honey. Very bitter finish. Not a fan of IPA’s.
