Sep 25, 2009 22oz bottle from my favorite beer store only 4 hours away! College Liquors. Pours a clear amber color with a thick white head and loads of lacing. The aroma is sweet citrus hops, pine, huge alcohol warmth. A massive orange peel and pine flavor, the smoothest of west coast hops, with tons of citrus and some bitterness pushing through the sweet aspects. Something akin to wood and a long bitter citrus finish. Very good.

Apr 15, 2007 Updated: Oct 9, 2007Drank from Tap at Carlsbad Pizza Port. Served by the beautiful tatooed Melanie. Little head made lacing hard to see. Wonderful sweet hop aroma. Caramel orange color. Great balance of bitterness and sweetness.

Dec 24, 2008 Courtesty of Gillard. Pours a hazy golden color with thin off white head. Aroma is sweet, syrupy, hops, citrus, some slight spice. Flavor is sweet and syrupy with notes of hops. Grapefruit, vanilla, some hints of spice. Generally medium body with a slightly sweet, slightly hoppy finish.

Apr 26, 2007 Hand Bottle Thanks to Styles for sending this to me via Footbalm via AlohaC. Opened with a low hiss. Poured a clear orange body with thin head that settled down to a nice ring around the tulip glass. Still had a lot of carbonation to it. Aroma is of citrus hops. Flavor is sweetened with hops, citrus, and a nice sweet malty back bone. Almost metallic like taste at first but my palate warmed up to it. Smooth and well balanced. Good DIPA.

Apr 30, 2008 Hazy ruby coloured, chunks of yeast. Hoppy nose, very fruity, some malts, not as strong as i expected. Hoppy and fruity flavour with exploding and overwhelming bitterness in finish, which is everlasting. I’m not a big fan of the style, so this example, which is on the extreme side even for the style, is just too much for me.

Apr 12, 2008 Bomber. Pours a clear amber with some floaters. Initial 2 finger head that hangs on farily well. Nice lacing. Nose is ripe citrus fruits mainly with malt background. Palate is light biting into a ripe tangerine at first, then starts to sour to grapefruit until it finishes with a pine bite. Beer has a medium mouth feel and the 10.5% alcohol is nicely hidden. Fantastic brew - this is at the top of my IIPAs.

Sep 4, 2007 Updated: Jun 2, 2008Ryan shared this bottle with me two weekends ago and I am very thankful. what you have here is another amazingly well done west coast hop bomb. Resinous describes this beer very well. It is dripping with hoppy fruit juice. Delicious.

Sep 27, 2007 Nice copper pour to this one, lingering head, hops are forefront, some grapefruit, but it settles down with malt, and as it warms, becomes an easy drinking brew, somewhat sticky, great brew!
