Commercial Description:
First brewed in 2002 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Pizza Port location in Solana Beach, we searched high and low and combined 15 of our favorite hops which were added every 15 minutes to the boil. Somewhat darker than other Double IPA style beers, our beer oozes the hop goodness of pine needles, freshly squeezed citrus and ground spices which are only moderately tempered by a sweet malt finish. Thankfully, for all of us hopheads, we have decided to brew this beer more than once a year. Look for Hop 15 to make appearances from time to time when space permits us to brew this, one of our favorite ales.

Bottle at ultimate glasgow tasting. Aroma is just such a pleasure, everything i love about hops, packed with resins, pine, lychee, citrus, amazing full deserves the 10. Taste is similar, i kept going back and having more of this, so delicous and juicey, georgous stuff. If i ever get the chance for more its mine!

Pours a good orange color. Smells strongly of hops and tastes extremly strongly of hops. Too much hoppy bitterness for me.

This is perfect IPA for me. Rich and deep orangey golden color. Loads of citrusy hops on the nose, super complex with floral compenents. Palate is huge without being too heavy. Mix of pine and orange citrus on the palate, with a liberal dose of malt thrown in for balance. Long finish, even at 10% it leaves you wanting more when done with the bomber. Keep it up guys! and thank you for making more than you used to so I can drink it without going to CA.

Beautiful. I bought a bomber at Arrow Liquormart in Littleton, CO. It has a darkish orange to light amber color, I dig the darker IPA’s. The aroma is amazing, very citrusy. The taste starts out with some sweetness and hop flavor from late or dry hopping, and then it progresses to bitterness... It’s a fun ride! You can tell that it’s continualy hopped, the hop flavor is so complex. It melds really well with the malt, which is discernable but not overbearing. For a double IPA, this has a great balance. Buy it.

Hazy amber color with a beige head. Aroma of floral and piney hops. Flavor is very bitter and hoppy(tangy citrus and pine) Also with sweet caramel malts.

hop bomb, I love it. Aroma is spicy and piney. great chewy body and incredible hop flavor of grass and a ligering pine syrup. A great beer overall, nice finish as well.
