Double IPA fest sample very delicious. Has everything I like in a double. So creamy, bitter, sweet and balanced. Delicious and dangerously drinkable.

Sampled at the 2009 AZ Strong Beer Fest on February 28th. Possibly best of the fest. Aroma and flavor are all hops, all the time. Amazing stuff. I enjoyed several samples!

Sampled @ 9th AZ Strong Beer Festival. Aroma fist thing I said was wow. Lights up the nose. Bright gold body with white head. Like the aroma the dry resin pine is mixed with some citrus for a good combination. My favorite beer of the day for me.

On tap @ AZ Strong Beer Festival. SHOW STOPPER...went back for 3rd’s!!! AZ sunset pour, with a vibrant metallic pour (combinations of brass, copper, and 24 karat gold) and a small ivory head. One of the most incredible aromas I’ve experienced; pronounced lemongrass, red ripe grapefruit, tangerine, and evergreen. Flavor is like stuffing your cheeks like a chipmunk with hops and chomping down. Oily, chewy, assertive: DELICIOUS!!! This is definitely one of the best!!!

On tap at the AZ Strong Beer fest. Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. The nose is all fresh citrus hops. The taste is grapefruit, orange peel, unripe tangerine and a dry resin finish. Medium creamy body. Hop bomb delicious – right up there with Masala Mama, Younger, and the rest of the epic IPA/DIPA in my opinion.

On tap at az strong beer fest. Pours a nice hazy brownish orange with a white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, pine. Flavor is uber-hoppy, citrusy, fresh hop, grapefruit goodness. Awesome DIPA.

Smell and taste dominated by hops. Delicious. Slightly on the sweet side, but still well balanced. A bit typical as a Pizza Port super hoppy beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy brown hued gold with a full white head. Nose has a nice pine hop punch to it with some grapefruit. Flavors are a crisp hop with well focused pine resin flavors. Not to sweet like a lot of DIPAs lean towards. Mouth is full with a very long bitter dry finish. Excellent example!
