GABF 2007. An excellent IIPA, but what else would you expect from PP? Best IIPA aroma @ the fest. Resiny hop flavor.

On Tap @ Pizza Port, Solana Beach. pour a light orange-brownish with a finger of white head. Swetish aroma with citrus hop notes. a solid malt backing with tons fo good hop flavor. a little bit more earthy than hop 15. some nice spicyness adds to the complexion. a very lovely beer. not as crisp as Hop 15 but still very very drinkable.

My favorite on tap at Port Solana. Straight up, If I were walking down death row to the electric chair, my last request would be a pitcher of Lou P Lin and a Roma (PP’s take on the supreme pizza). Hop character is in your face and all citrus (esp grapefruit). Malty, but not in the way of the hops. It’s really a hop lover’s dream beer.

Tap Solano Beach. 4/06. Hazy golden with mod white head. Very pleasant citrus aroma with a very refreshing citrus/grapefruit taste. Had side by side with Hop 15 tap. Not as complex and with much less malt backbone as Hop 15. Still and excellent beer. I love refreshing beers.

Draft at Downtown Johnny Browns. Poured hazy copper color with an average rocky off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Heavy smooth balanced flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.
