Not the most aromatic double IPA, but dry, straightforward and direct. Minty hops mingle through the light alcohol peaks to find leafy hints, the balance is excellent, unassuming with its english character peaks, yet boasting a tremendous medium-full body with particularly soft carbonation. Aroma is plenty hoppy and citrusy with good malt backbone. Starts with a caramel malty sweetness and gritty/sugary texture well balanced with a fresh green hoppiness leading to a crisp, dry bittersweet finish. A very nice double IPA and another winner from Pizza Port.
