GABF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grass and grapefruit, and oranges. The flavor is very powerful with notes of grapefruit and grass as well as a light alcohol burn before a dry bitter and grassy finish sets in.

Hazy golden, 1cm white head, decent lacing. Big resin nose, very dry, sawdust like woodiness. Not the most aromatic double IPA, but dry, straightforward and direct. Minty hops mingle through the light alcohol peaks to find leafy hints, the balance is excellent, unassuming with its english character peaks, yet boasting a tremendous medium-full body with particularly soft carbonation. Cheers Chris!

On tap at RFDs in DC: Pours a dark golden bronze with a thin, but well-lacing white head. Aroma is plenty hoppy and citrusy with good malt backbone. Starts with a caramel malty sweetness and gritty/sugary texture well balanced with a fresh green hoppiness leading to a crisp, dry bittersweet finish. A very nice double IPA and another winner from Pizza Port.
