Straight up, If I were walking down death row to the electric chair, my last request would be a pitcher of Lou P Lin and a Roma (PP’s take on the supreme pizza).
Hop character is in your face and all citrus (esp grapefruit). Malty, but not in the way of the hops. It’s really a hop lover’s dream beer. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA

It pours with a slightly cloudy golden body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is just amazing. It’s slightly sweet but mostly bitter, piney and grapefruity. I love it. The flavor is slightly sweet yet mostly bitter with great piney notes and a great grapefruit note. Medium to full bodied and smooth with a touch of dryness. jimbowood (964), Athens, Georgia, USA

Nose very citric, plenty of grapefruit, some cream and pineapple. Flavor is huge pineapple, some citrus, very fruity stuff. Finishes very dry and bitter, sucks the moisture from the mouth. Stunning mouthfeel, incredibly creamy and rich stuff. BOLTZ7555 (1113), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

AZ sunset pour, with a vibrant metallic pour (combinations of brass, copper, and 24 karat gold) and a small ivory head. One of the most incredible aromas I’ve experienced; pronounced lemongrass, red ripe grapefruit, tangerine, and evergreen. Flavor is like stuffing your cheeks like a chipmunk with hops and chomping down. Oily, chewy, assertive: DELICIOUS!!! This is definitely one of the best!!! BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

Thick cloudy orangey hue. Intensely hoppy, herbal aroma, fresh leaf basil. Spicy, minty basil flavor, grapefruit, moderately yeasty and malty, some tropical fruit sweetness. Unique for sure. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Chill hazed golden amber, thick creamy white head. Nose was like a freshly crushed hop field dropped into my pint glass. Flavor was full of fresh hop bitterness with razor sharp tones of peached pine and grapefruit. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, super dry, bitter finish. THIS is why I come to S. California... billk (300), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA

Aroma of amazingly fresh piney resinous hops & rich creamy lightly roasted malt. Flavor is rich, fresh, semi-sweet malts with grapefruit, balanced perfectly with the potent hops. Somewhat viscous. Hop burn & bitterness not as pronounced as hop 15, which fit this offering well. Very nice, clean, fresh, high quality stuff. Full bodied, alcohol very well integrated in, did I say perfectly balanced? I kept coming back to Solana for more and I didn’t want to stop drinking it. Perfect with pizza. Damn this was good!
