On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a hazy deep golden with a large, pillowy white head. Has a semi-sweet, lightly toasty bready Belgian yeasty aroma. Body starts sweet and biscuity with good clove spice and authentic yeast character. Very true to style and reminiscent of Duvel.

Tap @ Blind Lady. Pours golden with a bright white head. Nose is sweet and spiced and appealing. The taste is sweet, spicy, rich with lots of spice, and incredibly drinkable. I liked this a lot!

I had this on tap when it first came out at PP CBad, and I forgot to rate it, so here I am back trying it again. Yellow color. Banana Belgian yeast aroma. Lightly sweet. Easy to drink. Delicious. Creamy white head.

Draft at Obriens, fresh of a gold medal performance at GABF! Golden orange hue with light ring of white foam. Nose is citrus, light fruits, bananas, and Belgian yeast. Flavor is Belgian Candi, pears, apples, light citrus, modest malt in the background, finishes with light sweetness. Medium body, lightly viscous texture, light carbonation. A well-balanced Belgian strong with modest sweetness and masked alcohol presence.

Hazy blonde with a thin white head. Light orange and orange peels in aroma, with some funky barnyard notes. In mouth, smooth sweet malt with nice orage peels, and rich and pleasant body. At EBF 2006.

2006 Boulder Strong Ale Fest: Light yellow hue. Big bouquet of banana, clove and light herbs. Sweet malts were cakey, doughy and honey-like. Aromas of vanilla in the background. Little nip of bitterness. Curious and pleasant.
