fordest (1684), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Dec 13, 2007 Draft at O’Brien’s. Very nice aromas. Sweet smelling. Very tight head. Smooth finish. Would have thought I was having this on cask. Hoppy flavors too. Not bad. BBB63 (3797), La Porte, Indiana, USA Dec 5, 2007 OC Tour, tap at brewpub: Golden hue with frothy sticky lace. The aroma has notes of grassy, herbal and resiny hop, clove, caramel and bready, apricot and apple esters. The taste has biting bitterness over bready malts. A bit metallic and band-aid. Lack the depth of the other two beer I enjoyed. The hop profile was nondescript. nightrider (229), encinitas, California, USA Nov 27, 2007 On tap at PP San Clemente. Nice white head with light citrus and hops aromas. Clean hop bitterness with fresh floral accents. Pleasant on the palate. Fine IPA. padrefan98 (600), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA Nov 6, 2007 On tap at O’briens. Nice hop flavors with some pine and citrus. Finishes dry and a little tart. Very good. Naven (713), San Diego, California, USA Nov 4, 2007 Cask @ O’briens Wet Hop festival. The best beer of the night (and we had several). Super fresh, hoppy aroma. Flavor was all hops and that’s exactly what I wanted.
