Draft in Carlsbad. A pale golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, hops, and spices. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops, spices, and herbs, leading to a dry and very bitter, hoppy, and spicy finish. The body is light.

On tap. Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Very discreet aroma - nothing much happening really. Medium body, fruity with a dry and bitter finish. Well. 060709

Draught at San Clemente. Pours clear brown with an average, fizzy light brown head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, meal, cereal), light hop (herbs), average yeast (sweat) with notes of wet paper and apples. Light to medium bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

On tap at San Clemente. Pours with a burnt hay colored body and a bone colored head. Good lace. Aroma of soap, bread, hay, grain and earthy hops. Taste is grainy with toast, bread and light indistinguishable (hop wise) bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel.

Pours an amber/orange color with a thin lasting head. Aroma of subdued floral perfume and fruit punch. The flavor is also floral and fruity with an artificial grape juice kind of thing? Weird. Light body, almost too thin.
