On tap: Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Dark brown color. Roasty coffee and chocolate aroma and flavor. A little vanilla taste. Good carbonation and nice slow pour.

On tap @ The Liar’s Club. Pours black brown witha a white head. The aroma is smokey and chocolately. This matches the chocolately taste. This is a yummy impy porter, and I’ll agree with Sammy it does look like Guiness when its poured. Good work Pizza Port.

More like a double brown, creamy though not thick mouthfeel, smooth, malty sweet. Good lace. Looked like Guiness, but it’s a Root beer replacement so I see much customer base going for this. Some chocolate. Nice carbonation, as is typical across the lineup.

Cask @ Solana Beach. Chocolaty black, thing tan head. Nose is chocolate, milk, roasty malt. Flavor is milk, caramel, chocolate. Nose alcohol at all. Smooth but something wrong here - maybe a bit of fruitiness? I get a small hint of blueberry.

Not their strongest effort. Pours from the tap like a Guinness; dark brown with lighter edges and a cascading tan head. Aroma is musty cocoa and malt. Taste is very similar but creamy. Some caramel hints similar to a Scottish ale with some wooden flavors towards the back.

On tap in Solana Beach: Dark brown in color with a medium beige head. Served too cold, could not detect any aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter with hints of milk chocolate and coffee with cream. Light bodied and watery, but creamy with gentle carbonation.
