This Imperial Stout pours a dark black color from the tap. Small to medium sized tan foamy head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, cherries and some bourbon. A full bodied Russian Imperial Stout. The malts are chocolate and coffee with a touch of wood and bourbon. The hops are earthy and herbal. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. The chocolate flavors really dominate in this beer, but they mix well with the bourbon flavors. Hides the 10% alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Pours black with a light brown head. Nose is sweet and rich, somewhat malevolent of whats to come. Taste is super sweet, with rich chocolate, and a big punch, really tasty impy.
