Commercial Description:
Is it really safe to paddle out in our waters? It’s impossible to know for sure. What we do know is that this is an incredibly distinctive and bold American red ale that attacks your taste buds with lethal amounts of hops, which are balanced by a boat load of Crystal malt. If none of this fazes you, then maybe swimming in the shark filled waters is exactly where you belong. We’ll see you in the lineup!

[At GABF 2004] An unclear copper colored beer with a beutiful orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with some grassy notes. The flavor is surprisingly malty considering the aroma, but still with strong notes of hops, and the alcohol content shines thru.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of toncatcher. Almost clear amber golden with a tiny, off-white head. Fat and oily hop aroma. Medium body with notes of toasted caramel, overripe fruit and somewhat perfumy hops. Distinct and a little raw hop finish. 190608

Orangey-red colour. Chewy crystal malt with woody hop notes. Chewy with lots of bitterness. Sweet finish. Fairly typical for the style. Nice woody hop notes. It’s ok, never was my style.
