Great? No, but still pretty decent. Pours hazy gold with a largish beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, maybe a hint of brett, surprisingly juicy. Super drying, but sweet somehow. Somewhat oxidized, but it works with the beer. No brett evident. Nice mouthfeel – well carbonated and fluffy.

Slight notes of musty pineapple juice. Wet tree bark. Cardboard oxidization is definitely setting in. Very little hop profile... wet grass maybe? Pours muddy brown/orange with a creamy white head. Flavor doesn’t have a whole lot going on. Cardboard. Dried leaves and wet, cut grass. Hay. Oxidization. Palate is dry as a bone with a weak and watery finish. Past prime, I’m guessing. Thanks Andy! | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Golden-orange in colour, large and lingering white coloured head, good lacing. The aroma has lots of yeast, high amounts of citrus, very musty, some pepper. The flavour is quite spicy with lots of black pepper, light yeast, some orange citrus. Spicy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with lots of yeast and must, citrusy and spicy. Really good but wasn’t as funky as expected.

Sweet grapefruit flesh aroma has something else like tangy strawberry notes. Hazy, orange brown body with a foamy off-white head. Mildly bitter flavour is mostly fruity grapefruit and orange hops. Medium body. Really nice fruity hops.
