[Bottle] Okay, ego bomb aside, I didn’t think this beer was as dislikeable as the rest of the group. Great? No, but still pretty decent. Pours hazy gold with a largish beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, maybe a hint of brett, surprisingly juicy. Super drying, but sweet somehow. Somewhat oxidized, but it works with the beer. No brett evident. Nice mouthfeel – well carbonated and fluffy.

750ml bottle. Wow... what a letdown. Caramel and very little brett on the nose. Slight notes of musty pineapple juice. Wet tree bark. Cardboard oxidization is definitely setting in. Very little hop profile... wet grass maybe? Pours muddy brown/orange with a creamy white head. Flavor doesn’t have a whole lot going on. Cardboard. Dried leaves and wet, cut grass. Hay. Oxidization. Palate is dry as a bone with a weak and watery finish. Past prime, I’m guessing. Thanks Andy!

Thanks to Guerde for this one. A very nice, malty beer with a dry body, but no Brett at all as far as we could tell. Yeast and malts on the aroma.

750 ml bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of earthiness, straw, citrus, barnyard and light leather. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of barnyard, leather, citrus and straw with a smooth dry funky finish.

Citrus and malt aroma, hazy yellow, tiny white head. Taste is lemon, yeast and some malt. Light bodied, spritzy. Very good. Thank You IPFreely.

This golden ale poured with a beautiful fluffy white head and a yeasty aroma. There is a crisp citrus flavor and a carbonated mouthfeel, folllowed by a bitter yeast finish. Very nicely hopped.

Golden-orange in colour, large and lingering white coloured head, good lacing. The aroma has lots of yeast, high amounts of citrus, very musty, some pepper. The flavour is quite spicy with lots of black pepper, light yeast, some orange citrus. Spicy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with lots of yeast and must, citrusy and spicy. Really good but wasn’t as funky as expected.

750ml bottle shared by <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>IPFreely, thanks Tim.

[884-20071201] 750mL (Xmas Party 2007, beerhugger & guests). Sweet grapefruit flesh aroma has something else like tangy strawberry notes. Hazy, orange brown body with a foamy off-white head. Mildly bitter flavour is mostly fruity grapefruit and orange hops. Medium body. Really nice fruity hops.
