Oct 6, 2008 growler from Pizza Port Carlsbad--well, it’s not what was expected--as DarkElf perhaps suggests, change the name! decent white head that becomes soapy and airy easily, with quite the boring gold body; cookie dough at first whiff, but then it becomes cereal; flavors are notably earthy, floral, with light citrus; fairly carbonated, but then greasy, and eventually able to be bitten; not great! disappointing for Pizza Port... :o(

Aug 16, 2008 Clear ultra-light yellow, thin layer of white head. Aroma is clean and crisp malts, some cereal grains, and earthy hops. Flavor is pale malts and grassy hops, a touch of sweet bread, light fruits in the finish. Palate is light-bodied and watery with amped carbonation. Overall, a smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

Jun 22, 2008 Tasted at the SDCF. Clear deep yellow with a fizzy white head. Faint caramel aroma and a clean sweet taste.
