Cloudy golden-beige. Husky nose with light banana. Sweet, malty, with some bubblegum. Hints of banana. A bit too sweet for me.

From tap at Carlsbad. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Estery and light wheaty aroma. Mild spice hops note to the smooth and estery wheat flavours. Medium dry and light spiced finish.

Draught at Pizza Port Carlsbad
Hazy orange yellow color, nice retentive creamy white head and good lacing. Nose of light sulpher along with biscuity decocted malts and lots of clove, light banana. The flavor is sweet and rich with wheat and a light hallertau hoppy tail. This is how hefes should fuckin be. Clean finish. Needs about another week to condition out the sulpher, but other than that it’s gold.

Tap @ PP Carlsbad. Poured a hazy gold color with an off-white head. Mild banana and clove aroma with some citrus. The flavor had a wheaty start and banana middle to finish. Light bodied and semi-dry finish.

My guess is in the low five in alcohol, on-tap at Port Carlsblad. Clear clove and then bannana. It’s yeast and I am in fact allergic to real bannana and did not get a reaction, but it tasted quite bannana. Cloudy with a bit of lace. A different hefe experience for me, and reminds me of the Ontario hometown one. .
