Full body for a pils but fizzy. Nice refreshing beer easy to drink. rman18 (201), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA

Tasted like a commercial beer, but more fresh - makes sense. Very small white head/amber yellow pour. HoppityHop (105), New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Second beer of the night that I tried at Uno. Nice flavor for a summertime blonde ale, but wait.........it’s supposed to be a pilsener? I guess it tastes like a pilsener? Had a slightly buttery, yet clean, texture and was leaning more towards the doughy, malty flavor of a traditional Czech pilsener than the more hoppy styles to be had near the German coast. Golden coloring with a small white head. Tough to get much head when Uno freezes the glasses before serving, but the carbonation was still towards the stronger side and I have no complaints about that. The mouthfeel was nice and the aftertaste was nil. A decent offering that compliments greasy deep dish pizza well. hophead75 (1964), Boonton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 31, 2007 sampled at the brewpub. very light clear straw color. Butter/vanilla notes in the aroma, along with some grain. Taste is lightly buttery, vanilla, diacetyl but not completely overwhelming, grainy, clean watery finish. illinismitty (1809), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2006 Did they use ale yeast when they call it a Bohemian Pilsner? Pours golden with white head. Pale malt and pilsneresque lager aroma. Flavor is bread like, with hints of pils malt, grass, and hay. Crisp hoppy finish, but the soapines is a bit overwhelming. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2006 Not sure why this is called an ale if it is classified under a pils- maybe it is an ale brewed with a lager yeast or some sort of german ale yeast at warmer temps? Either way- it tastes mostly like a pils so thats what Ill go with. Pours a clear gold with a nice white head similar to the blonde ale. Aroma is lightly corn and dms, with more of a skew towards light herbal and spicy hops, with no estery profile like the blonde had. Flavor is a bit cleaner than the blonde and more crisp with more hop character- and a nice bready pils malt backbone. Very clean and crisp finish. Nice beer, but lacks that deep smoothness and fuller body that many great pils’ have. jcwattsrugger (5582), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
