Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of earth, grass, some wildflowers. Tastes of pine resin, spice, some earthy hints on the finish.

Below average for an IPA. Not much aroma. Good looking though. Flavor was bland. A bit thin.

Growler sampled at Noog Four-0 5/31/08 courtesy of jcwattsrugger: Pours a transparent copper bronze with spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty grainy sweet pale malts and some grassy English hops. Body starts fairly full and well-carbonated with a grainy malty sweetness and grassy earthy resiny bittering hops before a drier toasty bittersweet finish. A pretty good IPA.

On cask this was boring. Average for a light pale ale not close to an IPA on cask. Draft version definitely had more hops present than the cask version. Draft was way more vibrant and carbonation was very, even ultra low for a cask. Even though it was on cask I expected some carb. The red was better. Rating average of two.

Red/copper pour with off white head and lace. Medium malt and medium hops on the nose. Caramel malt and a nice finishing bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A fine beer. I also had this beer at noogfest 08 but could not find it on the site.

Growler at Noogfest ’08. The body was dark gold with a white head. The aroma was grapefruit and toast. Dry and dusty type character in that nose. The taste was grapefruit and bread crust. A nice brew.

At Noogfest Four-O. Pours orange with beige head. Aroma is butterscotch and orange. The flavor is chalky biscuits, lemon, and toast. Pretty straightforward IPA, really.
