| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Growler sampled at Noog Four-0 5/31/08 courtesy of jcwattsrugger: Pours a transparent copper bronze with spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty grainy sweet pale malts and some grassy English hops. Body starts fairly full and well-carbonated with a grainy malty sweetness and grassy earthy resiny bittering hops before a drier toasty bittersweet finish. A pretty good IPA. yobdoog (1476), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 28, 2009 On cask this was boring. Average for a light pale ale not close to an IPA on cask. Draft version definitely had more hops present than the cask version. Draft was way more vibrant and carbonation was very, even ultra low for a cask. Even though it was on cask I expected some carb. The red was better. Rating average of two. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA

Caramel malt and a nice finishing bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A fine beer. I also had this beer at noogfest 08 but could not find it on the site. heemer77 (4309), Savannah, Missouri, USA
