Commercial Description:
Exhibiting a deep, chestnut color and malty aroma All Malt Dark Lager is a very inviting beer. Mildly malty, with little lingering sweetness to note, Dark Lager is surprisingly refreshing. This is beer as it was meant to be, firm and satisfying. Seasonal specialty available January - April on draft.

Draft. Pours an amber body with a thin off white head. Caramel malt, a nutty bitterness, almond, toasted malt with a thin session body. A straight forward amber that a bit above the grain.

Tap at Barcade. Glad to see this. Pours yellow with a bright white ring. Light slightly malty nose. Taste is sweet, malty rich and amazingly drinkable.

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Malty aroma with a moderate amount of sweetness and some toast. The flavor is malty sweet with lighter notes of toast and bread. Decent.

Had awhile back at PJs [copper lager] - didnt realize it was a victory at first. Poured a dark copper body with small head. The aroma was light, but sweet. The taste is smooth with some malt in the finish.

What can be said about lager? dry and clean with a slight nutty finish. From the looks of other reviews, many pubs don’t understand that unpasteurized lager has to always be cold or it will spoil. Make sure it is fresh!

I wasn’t really impressed with this. body seemed thin, not much of an aroma, had a bit of a sweet taste to it, but nothing much other than that.

Tap at PJ’s. Pour is amber with fluffy white head. Aromas of grain and not much else. Flavor is that of a Yuengling with a fart in it. Blech! I had to choke this one down. Terrible.

For a lager, this is as good as it gets. Nice pretty dark amber pour. Typical lager aroma. Nice for a hot summer day.
