Slightly over carbonated, which is probably due to fact that I have been sitting on this for a long time. Caramel, roast, and fruit. Clove on the finish Aggie80 (708), Michigan, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2008 500ml bottle served in a weizen glass. Tons of carbonation, massive head. I had to wait for it to settle to fill the glass. Poured a dark amber. Pretty restrained aroma of clove and some malt. I got a slightly metallic note that wasn’t pleasant. Medium bodied with a decent malt backbone. A bit of spice in the finish. I was pretty disappointed with this. I’m a big bock fan, and I was really looking forward to trying this. It just seemed very bland.
